Welcome! I am Yucheng Quan, a PhD candidate in economics at the University of Hong Kong. 

My research applies industrial organization and causal inference methods to address critical challenges in environmental economics, development economics, and political economy. My current research agenda includes two topics: one is on studying the role of information intermediaries (auditor/certifier/verifier) in various markets and governmental regulation on intermediaries using IO approaches; another is on the policy effectiveness under incomplete monitoring and enforcement. 

In 2024 Fall–2025 Spring, I was a visiting scholar at the Department of Economics at Duke University.
